Shipping & Ordering Policy

Within the Continental U.S.
Generally, all orders received by 3:00 PM EST on Monday through Friday will be shipped the same day* via United Parcel Service (UPS) or U.S. Postal Service (USPS), at our discretion. For delivery addresses in the continental US, the flat rate shipping/handling fees are as follows, as of December 1, 2014:
Website orders = $6.00 shipping/handling. Orders ship via USPS or UPS (our choice). Allow 3-10 days for delivery.*
Telephone orders = $12.00 shipping/handling. Orders ship via UPS or USPS. Allow 1-5 days for delivery.*
*Note: If an item is on back
order (out of stock), and is due to arrive within 3 days, your order will
be held and shipped complete when the out of stock item(s) arrive. It
will not be shipped on the day that we receive your order. Most out of
stock items arrive in less than 1 week.
If an item is a Special Order product, please allow 2-7
additional days for delivery of your order. Special Order products have
an (SO) after the name. They are
not in stock. We will order them for you.
Note: UPS normally requires a signature for proof of delivery. In the event there is no one to receive the package on the first try, UPS will make 2 more attempts to deliver, after which the package will be shipped back to us.

International Shipping Policy
Published Retail UPS and/or USPS freight, insurance and delivery confirmation costs are charged for all orders shipped to addresses outside of the continental United States, plus a $5.00 International Handling Fee. Certain customs regulations may apply. Though we do our best to be informed of any regulations and to insure the safe arrival of your package, due to the unpredictable nature of shipping internationally and potential for uncontrollable circumstances, we do not guarantee timely shipment to International addresses. Awareness and payment of any customs charges is the responsibility of the customer.
State Sales Tax
A 6.25% State Sales Tax will be applied to all Massachusetts orders.
In accordance with manufacturers' recommendations, we ship heat-sensitive items with insulated cooler bags and icepacks to insure that these products are not exposed to high temperatures in order to maintain maximum product potency.
Orders containing heat sensitive items should not be in transit over the weekend. If your order will not be delivered to you by Friday, we will hold it and ship it the following Monday. It is recommended that your ship-to address is where you are during the day, such as a work address.
Determination of additional charges is as follows:
Small cooler bag & ice pack - $2.50/entire order:
A. 1 to 3 bottles or
B. 1 box of coated bars
Large cooler bag & ice pack: $5.00/entire order:
C. 4 or more bottles or
D. 2 or more boxes of coated bars and/or
E. Any combinations of the above
At the checkout page, the correct cooler bag will be selected using the above criteria. You choose "I agree to additional charges" or "I decline additional charges. I understand I cannot return these items." before submitting your order.
What if I decline additional charges for heat-sensitive items?
Although probiotics are relatively stable at normal room temperature for short periods of time, these should remain refrigerated whenever possible (more info). The coating on the coated bars will soften or melt in higher heat, and solidify once returned to room temperature. Appearance may be altered, but quality is maintained.
You do not pay additional shipping on back orders. *Orders that have 1 or more back ordered items will not be shipped the same day if any of the back ordered items are expected within 3 days. In this case we will notify you by email or by telephone and ship the order complete when we receive the back ordered item(s).
When an order contains a back ordered item(s) that are expected after 3 days, we will ship the partial order right away. No shipping charge will be applied to the following shipment of the back ordered items. You are only billed for shipped items. Back orders are generally filled within 1 week.
All returns must first be authorized by Moss Nutrition, and a reason is required. Please contact us for a Return Authorization Number (RMA) at (800) 851-5444 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Returns must be resalable - the outer plastic safety seal must be in place, with no markings on the bottle. Returns must be made within 30 days of the invoice date and are subject to a 15% restock fee.
Damaged or missing items
Packages delivered in damaged or incomplete condition MUST be reported to our office within 48 hours of receipt. Please retain the original shipping carton for UPS or USPS examination. Following their inspection of the package, UPS or USPS will pick-up the damaged product(s) and handle all details on the claim, notifying us. Please do not return damaged packages to us.
