Shipping & Inventory Control Team Member

Moss Nutrition Products, Inc. seeks special people to join our company. We sell nutritional products to Health Care Professionals and their patients. Prior warehouse/inventory control experience- pulling/packing orders, ordering and receiving inventory, etc. would be very valuable, although we will train the right candidate.
JOB REQUIREMENTS and DUTIES:
- You must possess excellent communication and reading skills. Your primary role will be pulling orders accurately from a written list of product names and code numbers
- You must possess excellent typing and computer skills. Periodically, you will be invoicing orders using our Windows-based software. You must be quick and accurate at data entry.
- You will need to be a hands-on person who does not mind repetitive tasks, enjoys being physically active, and who takes great satisfaction in being of service to others.
- You must possess high energy and be a quick learner. You must be an achiever, with high stamina, endurance, and focus on work activities. You must be willing to do whatever is necessary to get the job done, and on time.
- You must possess a cooperative manner and a desire to help whenever you are needed. You will be most effective if you are open-minded and respectful of those who have different tastes and viewpoints.
- You must possess leadership qualities. This would include having attention to detail while at the same time having a sense of the big picture. On occasion, you will be involved with inventory control; such as placing and receiving purchase orders for inventory, which will involve making decisions on your own.
- Secondary duties for all shipping team members include, but are not limited to, cleaning up/organizing the work area at the end of each day, trash removal, breaking down cardboard boxes for recycling, monthly inventory counting, and collating literature
- You will be required to be on your feet most of the day. You must be able to occasionally lift/move heavy, 'oversize' packages. A quick, consistent pace with high accuracy must be maintained on a daily basis.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Degree. College degree preferred.
HOURS: Weekdays, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
